Gigimon is Guilmon's In-Training form. The name "Gigimon" comes from the Japanese word "gigi", meaning doubt. Gigimon appeared when Guilmon Degenerated to Gigimon after the D-Reaper was defeated and was forced to return to the Digital World. "Gigi" also means teeth in Indonesian / Malay.
